No Photo Could Prepare Me for This—Absolutely Unreal

Seeing Everest was constantly on my bucket list, and this heli tour made it feel like a dream. I traveled with my husband and two friends. The highlight was definitely the landing at Kala Patthar. You feel the altitude the moment you step out, but the views are simply unmatched.
Our pilot was experienced and gave a short but insightful commentary throughout the flight. The fly-over of EBC was outstanding, but Kala Patthar is where you get that picture-perfect Everest moment.
Just a heads-up to future travelers: helicopters don’t land on the actual base camp (which is on a shifting glacier), but the landing point we had was even better for photos and less crowded.
