Smooth Ride, Unbelievable Views—Everest Like I Always Imagined

We traveled in early October, which turned out to be a fantastic decision based on clear skies and moderate temperatures. I had heard a lot about the Everest helicopter tours, and after comparing multiple operators and reading forum threads about altitude acclimatization, we settled on a direct flight with a landing at Kala Patthar.
The views were nothing short of spectacular—Everest looked almost touchable from our landing spot. A quick 10- to 15-minute stop was all we needed to soak up the scenery and take wonderful photos. The team handled the altitude situation very professionally and even carried emergency oxygen.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of journey. If you're thinking about it, go for it—just know you won’t be landing on the base camp glacier. Kala Patthar is even better for views!
